One of its requirements is a login functionality where members of the organisation can register/login to enter their contact info for emergency contact purposes. The contact info need to be private so only the members with the correct login and the admins of the website able to see the contact information. I can design/build website fine but not sure I am up to the task of building the database side. Anybody can suggest a web host (local or not) that offers this functionality out of the box? Have you considered building a site using Wordpress? It comes with a MySQL database. You can choose from one of thousands of templates for the front end or build your own and attach it as a template. You could also build a site using joomla but Wordpress would be an ideal place to start. It also has millions of plugins for every add on you can think of. |

If you don't know how, in all honesty if you can do web design, then doing *that* side of things isn't too difficult. Naturally there's a bit of a learning curve, but everything you need you can learn in an hour here: www.w3schools.com |
