1378069 2014-06-28 02:41:00 If you've ever heard of Ad muncher, it's an ad blocker. You had to pay for it previously. But by the looks of it, it will soon be free. Maybe sometime near the end of July

Info about it is here (www.murrayhurps.com)

That could be useful for blocking ads in IE Metro.

1378072 2014-06-28 06:34:00 Tried that once it did stuff all. And didnt block much. The TPL's in IE 11 blocked more than that Speedy Gonzales (78)

1378075 2014-06-29 23:50:00 ABP for IE used to freeze most of the time, or crashed if it was installed. While I was using it Speedy Gonzales (78)
1378076 2014-06-30 00:32:00 Ghostery..... no ads or trackers at all bevy121 (117)
1378077 2014-06-30 01:41:00 The thing I've noticed about ad blockers is that recently sites have made videos only run if the adblock is disabled so they can show "sponsors messages". I've seen this on the BBC site and also CNET. This certainly happens in Chrome, not so sure about other browsers. Tony (4941)
