| 391164 | 2005-09-27 00:07:00 | Hi, I have spreadsheets in which I want to copy and paste one column but it doesn't work. I have attached a part of one. How can I copy and paste the values in column "e". Thanks all oops doesn't look like I can attach things. | 391165 | 2005-09-27 02:27:00 | I presume you are clicking on the column letter to select the whole column. If you wish to copy and paste the values to another column, right click on the hilighted column, select Copy, then click in the top cell (row 1) of the column you wish to copy to. Right click and select Paste Special then click the Values selection button and click OK. HTH |

The whole table pastes but not a column even though they seem to be in columns.. | 391168 | 2005-09-27 06:19:00 | Use the Data / Text to Columns function from Data on the menu bar. Hilight the column then select Data then Text to Columns. With data arranged as you have shown, the Fixed Width option should split your data into individual columns. If it doesn't, have a play with the different options available and one will work. HTH |
