| 391243 | 2005-09-27 03:55:00 | Hey, my laptop has been bluescreening and reseting for a while now, but always recovers from the error and gives me this information. BCCode : 100000d1 BCP1 : F972D3C5 BCP2 : 00000001 BCP3 : 00000000 BCP4 : F972D3C5 Its not a software error cuz I've reformatted quite a few times and the problem remains. I tried different ram also, so that is not the problem. I have a feeling its hardware related but I can't find a way to figure out what it is. It usually happens a few times on startup and then recovers and works just fine. Other times it happens when I try to open an application. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks. Connor |

I don't think you want 122 pages of help. Can you give us a little more info on the system, pc type, name brand and any other things you can offer? |

When it does offer insight as to why, it is often wrong. What are you doing when this error occurs? Whats OS is it? Are you running Antivirus? Have you scanned for Spyware? |

| 391248 | 2005-10-03 00:23:00 | Hey guys. I'm running WinXP home SVCPK2 on an HP pavilion ze1210 laptop. I installed new drivers for my soundcard (from ms update) and it froze on every boot until eventually it just loaded to a blank screen. I reformatted and reinstalled windows, but everytime I do this the error reoccurs, and I have a feeling it will again. Any further insight into this matter? | sixstring7mtf (8966) | ||
| 391249 | 2005-10-03 00:31:00 | If it only freezes, after u download the soundcard drivers from the Windowsupdate site, don't use / install the sound drivers from the Windowsupdate site then . Go to the HP site, find the model of that laptop and install the right drivers for it . |

It may not be all that useful in pinpointing the exact problem, but will cwertaimly help narrow it down . Best guess would be the new driver though, so: Just roll her back or delete the new drivers, reboot and install the native HP ones when you get the; Windows Found New Harwdare, message . If the sound driver is not the probelem, there will be no harm done in restoring the older version . |
