| 391026 | 2005-09-26 08:14:00 | Yup, I would say it will . The other PC here, so it says in the manual, only supports PC1600/PC2100/PC2700 ram, but it's running on 1 GB DDR 400 ram . It'll most probably take the memory down to 333 speed . Altho, some mobos may NOT like DDR ram it cant handle . And may not run . |

My mobo supports 333 RAM but is running DDR 400 (at 333 speed) Yes this is true but some boards will clock the ram down to 320MHz, I ran 2 DDR400 modules along with a 333MHz 256MB module and the 2 DDR400's clocked down to 320MHz. In general though the RAM should clocked down to 333MHz. cheers chiefnz |
