| 392016 | 2005-09-29 09:22:00 | Hi Whenever I play a movie or try to put a TV or video signal into my computer the resulting image is all washed out like the gamma is up way too high. They play Ok on my laptop and sound is OK just image. I am running Windows XP home, service 2, on a P41800, 512mbRAM and Nvidia 128mb GeForce FX5200. I have recently installed SP2 but not sure if has coincided with this problem or not. I have the latest version of Windows Media Player and all the XP updates from Windows Update. Also have latest Nvidia drivers This is driving me bonkers, any advice most appreciated Thanks Gerard |

| 392017 | 2005-09-29 09:28:00 | What version of the videocard drivers are installed?? 78.01 is the latest version of the Nvidia drivers. I think 77.72 were buggy and made the colours etc go funny. If u have this version, uninstall them, and reinstall the latest WHQL drivers, not the beta version. |
