As for the CLUG site......
Look, i really don't want to seem overly negitive, but its not a web site, it's a wiki, had i not have got this link from you i dought if i would have looked hard enough to see things i wanted to know like upcoming meetings. Before i saw the useful stuff, i saw an invite to "play in the sand box".

It's not hard to see why the recent visitors for the year total 2, "-- NateCull 2005-05-04
-- JohnGriggs? 2005-08-05"

I attempted to sign in, i got an invalid password message, and i haven't yet found anywhere to sign up as a new user/member. "Personthingy" will therefore not leave his name in the visitors book, thus not increasing it by 50% for the year.....

I hope the site doesn't reflect the state of CLUG in general.

However, having now found the useful bit, "MeetingSchedule" i shall endevour to show my face and see what there is to learn and/or contribute.

I mostly agree with your comments, Subscribe to the mailing list its very active.

If I remember correctly you dont need to be a Registered to add to the Wiki. There are instructions on there somewhere.

I must admit I only found this a couple of weeks ago but I have been on the mailing list. It was so busy at one stage that I had to filter the incoming messages into a seperate folder for later reading

391633 2005-12-04 02:21:00 i am now subscribed to the mailing list, i hope this proves a good idea :)

And beama, your right, it was possible to edit the visitors book thingy without logging in, so now there are 3 noted visitors in 2005 :p
