| 392277 | 2005-09-30 09:42:00 | This is probably a silly question. Yep. Again. I'm about to uninstall Trend Micro Security 2004 and install TM 2005. I'll use Control Panel -Add/ Remove - Remove, (unless I'm advised against that) but I'm wondering....... Should I disable/ exit/turn off TM 2004 prior to uninstalling or leave it running? I'll be offline. The whole suite's running, firewall, antispyware, privacy protection and AV. I appreciate your help and wish you a fun-filled Friday night |

| 392278 | 2005-09-30 20:53:00 | Best thing to do is... 1) Make sure you're disconnected from the Internet. 2) Once you've done this uninstall TM 2004. 3) Reboot then install TM 2005. With you're Internet connection down you don't have to worry about any attacks or other nasties and once TM 2005 is installed you can re-connect to the Internet. cheers chiefnz |
