| 392195 | 2005-09-30 03:39:00 | Just try it and see....Its not a big download (you only download the app to view the "world", all the content is streamed in as you navigate around. Though you wont find a creek in NZ, we have poor coverage in Google earth. |

| 392200 | 2005-09-30 04:34:00 | NIWA have some really good charts that you can download. Mainly for sea but have land heights as well. Very large download though. About 10mb average. Need alot of ram and fairly powerfull computer to browse them too. Maybe of use to you. | lazydog (148) | ||
| 392201 | 2005-10-01 09:05:00 | So far Mapquest is the best for finding the actual creek im looking for, but no land depth lines, topograph stuff, but i found the squiggly line70 kms away from town, that i was looking for........google earth just didnt do the water justice, but could give me the nooks, and crannies of a ridge and valley. Thanxs all for your help, i looked at NIWA but im not sure i was looking at the correct spot you mean Lazy? i think i got what the other person was looking for, just a pity i couldnt do the slopes bit. beetle :nerd: |
