| 393235 | 2005-10-04 03:03:00 | Hey, I have a Dell Deminsion 4600 which is about 2 years old, and in the last week it seems to have started going on holiday or something. When you press the power button in the morning it doesnt turn on, no fans start, no lights come on, the network light which is normally always on turns off and yea. BUT it seems to come alive at around 3pm, and will go fine for the rest of the day. The thing thats puzzling me is that when its working, the green light inside turns off when you unplug it and press the power button, while when its not working (the light is on inside, showing it has power) and you press the power button the light doesnt turn off. Anyone have any ideas? I dont want to pay anything to fix it if possible Cheers Daniel |

| 393240 | 2005-10-04 04:57:00 | I have unplugged and plugged everything back in. How can i test the PSU? My server is my only machine with a ATX power supply (All my other machine are laptops, or really old), and i cant exactly turn it off, and i dont want to risk killing my server. Daniel |
