| 392930 | 2005-10-02 18:24:00 | Hello to all this morning. Soon I will be ugrading to a new computer and plan to reinstall Windows XP which I receive with my original computer. I am not expecting an issue with this as it has only been installed once in the last two years on the machine being upgraded from. My question is this, I am on a 56k internet connection and obviously updating to SP2 can take a month of Sundays. Does anybody know of a way to obtain or purchase SP2 on CD? Regards Shomenno |

| 392933 | 2005-10-02 21:14:00 | so if you use firefox then use this link otherwise get a good downlaod manager program.......'getright' or similar which has 'resume' feature and use this link you'll have it in two nights downloading andyou wont even notice it happenign........just start the download running at night then pause it during the day then resume the next night it'll be all over before you know it......i did it one time.........in fact I once downloaded a 480mb file on dial up like that is was eassssyyyy...... www.softpedia.com |
