393516 2005-10-05 02:05:00 Hey is it possible to buy a switching devise that enables you to run two totally separate PC’s off 1 monitor, 1 keyboard and 1 mouse?! If so what is it called and where can purchase?
Many thanks

393517 2005-10-05 02:11:00 You need a data switch. Available in wide variety. A simple one which will just run the keyboard and screen costs about $27. A version which runs keyboard, mouse and screen can cost over $90. I have another automatic one which allows both macines to address one printer. Probably DSE. Scouse (83)

You may want to consider one that will handle USB k/b & mouse and audio as well.

I have one of these (catalog.belkin.com FKVMSwitches%2FOmniViewSOHOSeries%2F) for switching between my 3 PC's.
