393482 2005-10-05 01:24:00 When I double-click the CD icon, I get a list of all the files on the CD.

When I right-click and select Autoplay, I get "Windows can perform the same action every time you insert a disk or connect a device with this type of file: Pictures. What do you want windows to do?"
If I select "Take no action", tick "Always do the selected action", then try again, the same thing happens, but with the "Always do the selected action" box unticked.

If I go into Firefox and go File>Open File then choose index.htm, Firefox opens a blank page. The same thing happpens with Internet Explorer.

If I go to the list of files on the CD and double-click any folder, I get an error message that says "F:/whatever is not accesable. The disk Struture is courrupted and unreadable."

I am totally stuck. I have tried everything(well, everything listed above).
The damm disk will not open the index page or any other page.

393484 2005-10-06 00:27:00 Have you try accessing your PCWorld CD via safe mode method - assuming you are working with Windows? "Damning" at your disk and computer won't work; I've tried it. ;)

Cheers :)

settle.
are you an admin of your computer though?
have you tried it in another computer?
have you tried to stop it auto running? ie holding the shift key while inserting disk, then right click on drive and open?
