| 394109 | 2005-10-07 04:12:00 | Firefox takes a loooooong time to load once I click on the icon. I know there has been some suggestions on this forum how to speed it up but I can't find it. Any ideas? sarel |

| 394110 | 2005-10-07 04:58:00 | What OS are you using? If you have XP (or Win2k??) then you might wish to try prefetch. Right click on the Firefox icon on your desktop and select properties. Under the shortcut tab and in the target field add after the last speech mark and leaving one white space /prefetch:1 eg "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" /prefetch:1 May or may not make much of a difference. You running the latest version of Firefox? |
