| 394261 | 2005-10-08 00:50:00 | You missed one OS out. The Commodore Amiga OS was and is still far superior to anything around today, Trevor :) |

| 394262 | 2005-10-08 01:30:00 | Go with a multi-boot. Windows XP Pro, Windows 2000, Windows 98 Second Edtion, and one or two Linux Distros, and of course Windows 3.1 I'd pass on Windows ME and DOS. And Mac OSX |

| 394264 | 2005-10-08 01:55:00 | 9 times I have written a post in this thread and then deleted it. You can all thank me for that. Anyhow, XP home is the best choce for the average user. I won't go into detail . If you doubt it then try a Linux. Apple gear doesn't apply unless you already own a mac in which case your already using an Apple OS and cant really try the alternatives. Mac heads claim its better....which is like asking someone in a holden hat ,holden shirt, holden pants ,holden sunglasses, sporting a Holden tattoo and who has changed their name to Holden which is better.....Ford or Holden? FORD |
