| 393997 | 2005-10-21 08:20:00 | Well odd, Valve released a patch for cs:s that solved my loading problems, cs:s now plays fine.. bizar really because there is no trace of dx on my system :s all other games still dont work, but not too fussed as im a css player at heart |

| 393998 | 2006-01-30 08:35:00 | I had exactly the same problem with directx 9.0c. Age of Empire III requires directx 9.0c because i have older version 9.0b. It looks as if it is installing though when you manually install it frm the cd but checking it from dxdiag will frustrate you. If you have win xp with sp 2 than you might want to reconsider having one because of the security features and because installing new directx version works fine when you install it on an OS without sp2. |
