| 394673 | 2005-10-09 04:51:00 | Hi all, I am using 256k ADSL at this moment, and since I am a ch33p b@st@rd, and I am a user of heavy downloads, of everything. I update my Debian Linux packages everyday, I do bit-torrents, I do emules/donkeys/cows, u named it. However, current ISP (Wxxxxxxxt) that I am using at this moment, caps me badly so that only 200MB maximum of downloads per day from p2p. I am sure that Ive got those ports forwarding rights, because I used to have those 30ks before they cap me. So here is the questions, which ISP/Plan of 256k unlimited ADSL is the best for kind of people like me. Thanks in advance. :D |

| 394678 | 2005-10-10 19:44:00 | Orcon I believe still runs an uncapped service @ 256Kb though I think you have to ask for it as it's not on their web site.. | paulw (1826) | ||
| 394679 | 2005-10-10 21:32:00 | Really?? Wxxxet limits traffic??? I thought small ISPs generally don't.. If I were you, I'll fork out a little extra per month, gop for Actrix 1Mb... You get 700mb everyday, so you can download to your heart's content.. And when you get throttled (which is unlikely considering it's 700mb a day), just take a short nap, and you'll be back on track at 12.01am... |
