| 394937 | 2005-10-13 03:35:00 | ok didnt work still same prob, going to go in safe mode and see if i can delete those two programes i couldnt find in hijackthis. | lisamarie01 (6731) | ||
| 394938 | 2005-10-13 04:37:00 | Lisamarie01 those two files you say you can't find are in your last posted Hijackthis log. Use your browser search (ctrl F on Firefox) to find their position on the post to PressF1 and then use that knowledge to delete them in Hijackthis. | zqwerty (97) | ||
| 394939 | 2005-10-13 05:10:00 | ok tried to delete those two files in safe mode but they wouldnt delete just kept saying access denied please make sure the file isnt in use or something like that. i know they are on my system as i found them there, however when i click in hijack this to do the scan the window where it has all the boxes to tick doesnt have these two files but the log file it opens up in the new window does have them. cannot delete them, are they the reason it doesnt work? or just something my system doesnt need? i wonder if deleting nortons will work anyway as when they are closed it wont download my email so i will be left with the same problem anyway right? ...... thanks | lisamarie01 (6731) | ||

| 394945 | 2005-10-13 09:06:00 | umm excuse me bart but give me some credit, i have worked with computers all my life know the inside and out, i am not abou to trash my own computer, just merely having a problem, gosh worst case senario uninstall nortons and get something else just hoped i could get past it without that, nortons isnt cheap.even the best computer tech has problems pinpointing a problem. and the 38 posts are people talking back and forth about helping me with this problem, your sugestion hasnt helped, just cause im female doesnt mean i dont know anything!!! |
