| 395885 | 2005-10-18 08:23:00 | An Observation..... When you use a camere with shaky hands you will get a blurred picture. I guess the same applies to using A Tablet Pen...Shaky writing in = crap text out. Yes it does work, obviously I have to work on my 'Hand to eye to screen' co-ordination. To all the Patient Helpers, Thankyou. To Tally, Thankyou for the use of your thread. Poppa John    |

| 395886 | 2005-10-18 08:35:00 | Well, That saves me a visit over the weekend, Figured a few days of tinkering by yourself would bring results.(and Speedy was obviously a high value contributer to the cause  ) Now all you have to do is practice and see if it works to a reasonable standard. I would however imagine one of the dedicated writing tablets (like I linked to earlier) would do a better job then one designed to replicate brush strokes. Also, you can set the working pressure of the pen in the taskbar applet to a level more natural to your normal use of a pen. |

Try me with a site for the dedicated one & a price, please. PJ |

| 395890 | 2005-10-28 08:23:00 | Hi guys! I am back. Got myself a Tablet, Wacom, for 122$ Nz and it does the job. But probably needs training and getting used to. I took the one I was using back to Metla. Nothing wrong with IT, just me. It IS capable of doing the job, but you need reasonably good handwriting. Writing seemed to work better than printing. My handwriting is even worse than a Doctors prescription. (Are they trained to write like that?) So now I am back to pen & paper. I am sure that in the near future both Speech & Handwriting programmes will be the norm, maybe not in my lifetime tho. Where can I get a "HAL" computor??? Thanks all. PJ |
