2005-10-17 08:34:00 | Can someone give me reccomendations on the 6600GT AGP Graphics Card. Just want to know whether it is good or not and the general state in which it runs. More specifically: Legend Geforce 6600GT AGP 8x | subatomicguy (9077) | |

I still have to configure and update my motherboard bios to get the full potential of the card, because my card hasn't been running at what it is capable of, but despite this I have been able to run those games at pretty much high settings. AS for FEAR, I heard you can run it 1024x768 with everything high expect soft shadows and get a average of 40 fps. So best card for the buck! |

2005-10-18 01:56:00 | The great thing is by the time this card becomes like the Geforce4 MX440 (2008?), ther'll be cards out there for $150 that are about 2.5x as good as this one :D | ojibwa (8968) | |
2005-10-18 11:11:00 | by that time there will be more high detail games that can not use a 6600gt.. I have a MSI 6600gt and its great, however any brand card should be ok.

2005-10-18 20:48:00 | I have a Leadtek 6600 GT, it is slightly overclocked and its cooler is quite silent. It also rates very highly on respected review websites. My old Ti-4200 was a Leadtek and never missed a beat. Therefore I will always recommend leadtek | KiwiTT_NZ (233) | |
2005-10-19 06:16:00 | Not on a 6600GT I agree my 6800GT can only just do that, a 6600GT is more around the 20-25fps in that resolution and settings.
