| 396732 | 2005-10-15 23:51:00 | Does anyone know how to un-install 'pc mightymax'? I tried but it came back asking me to change which meant it re-installed itself. Shock Horror. It was advertised as a free trial but it then said I had to buy it after telling me there were some errors which I did not believe as I am fairly up to speed when it comes to keeping my Computer clean and tidy. But boy Oh Boy I was sucked in here. It won't let me delete it in explorer mode either saying the will be an explosion and my computer will be nuked. Any one struck this spyware job before It is spyware isnt it? Some thing nasty anyway. Regards to all |

| 396734 | 2005-10-16 08:27:00 | It appears the way to remove it is to use Add/Remove and then follow the prompts with the Change option. Apparently further in the "installation" process you will get an option to uninstall it. You will need to follow the "Next" button a few times to see this option. Bit of a dirty tactic to use and does nothing to enhance its *professional* image. |
