396606 2005-10-15 09:39:00 Okay, this has been annoying me for a while. Time I did something about it.

I am using MSN 7.5 and I have a few mobile contacts. Sometimes these guys are not online, yet they are shown as being online (because their mobile is supposedly online). I only want msn users to be shown online when they are using msn.

How can I do this? Could not find anything in MSN Plus! Maybe someone can help with this?

Thanks...

Cheers :)

396608 2005-10-15 10:47:00 Well... what I have done is grouped my friends by location. It is not grouped by status. My online contacts are shown online while those not online are shown in an auto-group called offline.

For some dumb reason, the mobile contacts are shown as being online when they are not actually online (and they use an ugly yellow msn icon yuk!)

396609 2005-10-15 23:30:00 I had the same problem.. Until I started using Gaim (http://gaim.sf.net)

I never found a way around it :(

Amsn has hybrid sorting which I liked!

396611 2005-10-16 06:57:00 If you go Contacts>Sort Contacts By>Group Mobile Contacts Together, then the mobile contacts should be hidden in a seperate group imarubberducky (7230)
