| 1392184 | 2015-01-15 00:25:00 | Hi all. I've been give some cellphone batteries. Brand new, but old stock and never been charged or used. Dated 26/04/2009 & 18/07/2009. My question is, storeage. As there any special way to store them and should they be charged before hand? Thanks for any input, Ian. |

Not being a smart phone, used to last 3-4 days. I googled and email a few places and was unable to get any, so I emailed ZTE New Zealand. A very nice person emailed back and said she would send one at, at no charge. Great. A few days latter gets another email said they found another 2 and would send those as well. First one arrived, no problem charged up Monday night and still over 1/2 full. 2nd lt arrived and wrong model batteries. So was just thinking to store them, I guess, rather than throw away. |

Dated 26/04/2009 & 18/07/2009. 5 year shelf life, so end of life anyway........may still be OK Ideally , you would store them at approx 80% charge. Thats not practical so charge them & & store in the fridge. |
