| 1380083 | 2014-07-25 04:45:00 | Visiting a web site with a view to purchasing items should be a pleasant experience and not like going down some back alley in a third world country and being confronted by pesky sales people. I find the Duty Free site - http://www.dutyfreestores.co.nz to be so intrusive and frustrating and wonder if their management every try and experience it! NO I do not want anything on their damn pop ups - if I wanted @&$?! Black Label I would have @&$!/ brought it - don't hassle me - if there was only an alternative. If anyone can supply their management email address am happy to share some of their damn products! Rant over. |

Hmmm, as I type I remember a mate mentioned this problem and he tracked it back to Internet Explorer as I recall. I'm using Firefox for what its worth. |

| 1380089 | 2014-07-25 06:36:00 | I used that site a few weeks ago, and wasn't bothered by heaps of pop-ups. The only pop-up I saw is when you view your cart and a "specials" pop-up displays. This is easily dismissed with the X or "No Thanks" button. It doesn't appear again. Not much different to supermarkets stocking their check-out aisles with sweets/oddments in the chance you will add them to your cart while waiting to be served. |

Just tried with both Firefox & IE 11 (W8.1) no popups on either, no blocking software/plugins either on the browsers. Had a look at some of their prices -- Are they friggin kidding ? Some of their pricing is more than a regular shop on some items. I used that site a few weeks ago, and wasn't bothered by heaps of pop-ups. The only pop-up I saw is when you view your cart and a "specials" pop-up displays What popups ?? Nothing, just went through right to the point of needing a email address -- no popups anywhere. |
