1379773 2014-07-21 04:24:00 That's a strange question which will need a bit of interpretation.... can you clarify? Greg (193)
1379774 2014-07-21 04:30:00 Why do you need to notify Xtra of your IP? I'm confused by the question. inphinity (7274)
1379775 2014-07-21 04:45:00 I assume you are going to toss xtra and wonder how much notice you need to give them of your move! Bryan (147)
1379776 2014-07-21 08:43:00 This is Telecom (or whatever alias they are currently using), give them nothing. Charge them heaps for the notice, and include a hefty penalty for late payment. ;) R2x1 (4628)

Phone Telecom/Spark and ask them. Depends on whether or not you have a contract with them.

1379778 2014-07-22 06:49:00 I don't think you need to give any notice. If you are on a contract they will charge you an early termination fee, however.

Just ring them up and say you want to disconnect.

Bear in mind you will lose access to your Xtramail etc.

I think for most people, this is a bonus!

No that's a bad idea, ring who you want to change to and sort it out with them, they will do a churn on your connection. If you ring Xtra and say you want to disconnect then ring another ISP and say you want to connect to them things get messy. Simply ring Telecom and see if you're still in contract.

The OP didn't mention anything about moving to another ISP, in fact we're still not totally sure what they were asking about.
