| 1379399 | 2014-07-17 04:30:00 | That's OK Cic. I'm feeling a bit sensitive having just had 3 weeks in Auckland Hospital with a seriously infected and burst gallbladder. Things got a bit close there, as I had no indication that anything was wrong at all. The surgeon said the gallbladder was in pieces, and she removed the last of it with a suction device. Unable to do it laparascopically I ended up with a wound about 10 inches long. The whole experience was not one I would recommend. | Richard (739) | ||

I use Entropay which is a virtual Visa Debit card and a good option. I use that as my Visa for internet purchases, only depositing into Entropay the amount to cover the cost of the purchase so I have (I hope) a buffer there against anyone hacking into my account. Not that it matters because I don't keep much more than US$10 in there anyway. Top up from my ASB card to Entropay is almost instantaneous. |

Interesting, when I had gall bladder problems I knew about it alright. It was pre keyhole, so like you I have a large wound. So many people these days are only here due to modern medicine. |

I'm sure their lawyers would have looked into it before they started their Global Mode feature. Rubbish, Which part is not to clear in their terms. You may view a movie or TV show through the Netflix service only in geographic locations where we offer our service and have licensed such movie or TV show. Netflix dont allow by default NZ because of our geographic location. Slingshot are simply going ahead and bypassing it. If they weren't "bending the rules" they wouldn't have to bypass the fact we are in NZ. Seems the terms and conditions mean nothing - which means any terms or Conditions that are in work contracts are of no use as well and a complete waste of time ?? |

Well that's a bit different as you can be identified and have physically signed a document, with the Netflix sign up there is no real ID involved so how could they prove that you were the one that agreed to the terms? |

| 1379406 | 2014-07-17 05:42:00 | There was another local ISP that did it for a while also, they stopped after about 2-3 months of offering it though due to the huge amount of issues they were having. Stick with things that are legit: iTunes & Google Play |

Stick with things that are legit: iTunes & Google Play Yes but Slingshots Global Mode has been around for about a year now I think, it's only just recently come into the spotlight as they have now turned it on by default for all of their customers. You had to go and turn it on yourself before that. |

Thats a user lack of education / Knowledge factor with the service they have. In a nutshell, Netflix aren't going to kick up to much of a fuss, its money in their pockets after all. If it weren't for all the regulations, licenses etc, they would have made it available years ago. In a round about way, ( relating to lack of knowledge) how many people install crap /malware in their computers by using the default install of some programs -- if they knew you use the custom or advanced you can generally untick items. |
