| 397684 | 2005-10-19 14:09:00 | Hi All At the moment I have a couple of Databases created with Microsoft Access for the likes of my DVD and CD-Rom collections/holdings. So any time that I wish to use them I have to either crank up a PC or sit down at one and open up the database to look it up. What I've been pondering was the possibility of having these databases loaded on some sort of a portable device such as a smartphone, PDA or pocket PC. From a cursory look at some devices on the internet not many at all can read Access-created database files so was wondering if anyone had any creative suggestions on what options I could look at -- would prefer something that was relatively cheap and not an $1000+PDA or Pocket PC style solution. All I want to be able to do is pick it up view my Access databases on it and thats it. Thanks in advance |
