397681 2005-10-19 06:32:00 When I'm downloading a file that is going at say 30kb/s, it makes browsing very slow, so what I wan't to be able to do is limit the download speed of the file, so that I can still browse at a reasonable speed while having the file slowly chugging along in the background.

Is there any way to do this?

Using Firefox and Jetstream starter.

397682 2005-10-19 06:40:00 download managers such as flashget can do that for you
flashget can let you adjust your download speed realtime
so.. you can load a big page or load few pages when download is capped
then let download go fast again when you look around those pages
kinda handy..i do that sometimes
