Have absolutely no idea how to load program and change features. Can some one help me with some where that I might pick up a manule or rules for using linux. Thanks Tim |

Linux books are not like most books about the "other OS". They are not just printed versions of the so called "help" files produced by MS. They are written by people who have used the software, and most of them can write well, too. ;) There are issues of a couple of good Linux magazines, too. | Graham L (2) | ||
| 397630 | 2005-10-19 05:01:00 | Libraries have generic manuals for Linux, or you may be able to pick up a Fedora Core 4 manual as well. Heap and heaps of information on the internet. Some good sites to start with are: The Unofficial Fedora FAQ (http://www.fedorafaq.org/) FedoraNEWS (fedoranews.org) and its Tips section (fedoranews.org) Fedorazine (http://www.fedorazine.com/) You learn the most from just checking everything out, playing with and enjoying the system. :) |
