397482 2005-10-18 20:24:00 These did help with telling me why but not really how i can overcome this problem :( The_End_Of_Reality (334)
397483 2005-10-18 22:37:00 Try this

1. Click Start, point to Settings (or click Control Panel), and then click Control Panel (or switch to Classic View or View All Control Panel Options).
2. Double-click Folder Options.
3. On the File Types tab, Scroll down to Zip click to select the file type that you want to block or allow, and then click Advanced.
If the file type you want to add is not listed, perform the following steps: a. Click New.
b. In the Create New Extension dialog box, type the file extension you want to add to the unsafe file list.
c. Click OK, and then click Advanced.

4. Click to place a check mark (block) or remove the check mark (allow) from the Confirm open after download check box.
NOTE: You cannot remove the check from Confirm open after download to allow some file types. For example, .exe files are in the default unsafe file list in Internet Explorer and cannot be allowed.

397484 2006-02-16 03:10:00 This happens with many files from the NCEA part of the NZQA website and from what I've read by entering the error message into Google is that is a server side fault, that the coding to create the zip file is not correct. I have asked NZQA to look into the problem. These files can be opened with Winzip without any problem though not all of us have that. (You have to right click and choose extract) Jude_E (9100)
397485 2006-02-16 07:04:00 winzip isn't exactly hard to get.... Agent_24 (57)
397486 2006-02-16 07:33:00 I tried downloading one of those NCEA files and had the same message when trying to open it. It opened though when dropped into Aladdin Stuffit Expander (version 6), I think they are up to version 10 now. Terry Porritt (14)
