397808 2005-10-20 01:52:00 just installed numlockx for X11
i use enlightenment16
put it into my xintrc file in my home folder
and it doesn't work..

is there some really specific order or something i need to modify for it to run when i start enlightenment?

tried all the obvious combinations..still not working

also..the gentoo clock seem to not lik daylight saving
it's not showing the time correctly after i reboot
is there an autoadjustment for day light saving time
or do i have to change the hardware clock manually?

397809 2005-10-20 01:58:00 As far as numlockx... you could try this.. (www.linuxquestions.org)
Essentially, put the entry in your .xsession file.

As far as the time is concerned, unsure sorry, I use ntpd and have no problems like this

397810 2005-10-20 04:35:00 um..didn't work

also tried with:
exec numlockx or just numlockx
also tried those with full numlockx path

tried it after the enlightenment entry
tried them before enlightenment entry too..didn't work

tried it inside xterm after enlightenment and that works..don't see why it can't be run on startup

You need to reset your timezone. Do man -k timezone to find the command to do that.
