| 398073 | 2005-10-20 23:11:00 | alright my friend got a HP media center with onboard video card. and he wants to watch it on tv he said he want the wireless one and his budget is $100. i searched on ebay and saw the wireless but was sure enough if that will work on RCA cable u know the red white and yellow cable. he wants VGA to RCA - RED WHITE AND yellow cable. plz help soon i mean reply soon |

| 398074 | 2005-10-21 01:38:00 | Part of the problem in answering is trying to understand exactly what is wanted . "wireless"? Do you want no wires between the "Media centre" and the TV? Then why specify RCA connectors? A modulator, such as the G1503 at Dick Smith Electronics will take RCA video and audio inputs, and produce RF, but I that still needs to use a cable to the TV, partly for the benefit of the neighbours . "VGA to RCA" isn't just a matter of a cable . . . the video standards are different, so there would be a "box" of clever stuff somewhere . . . Has the video card only a VGA output; no "proper" TV outputs? If it has TV standard outputs, there are "video transmitters" which will handle that, but the added modulation and demodulation would probably change the picture quality from terrible to atrocious . . . .
