| 398071 | 2005-10-21 02:25:00 | Setting up the virtual smtp server in xp service pack 2 and have set the required settings in stmp but no emails are going out. Using an asp email file. Questions with my answers. Please comment The IP of my computer is that found by ipconfig Have set the firewall to open Port 25 for SMTP (correct name?) Have installed CDONTS Logfiles are not obvious for any problem Only one message in the email queue )mailroot/queue Seems unusual as I have tried the routine dozens of times. Suspect a firewall (perhaps) The computer is on a Dynalink modem/firewall Any help please, run out of ideas Cheers Philip |
