I have noticed that when my computer is on for long time (as in 15-20 hrs) & i shutdown or re-start then when it says "windows is shutting down" it hangs i left it on for 10 min and its still like that.

There are lots of tweaks on this issue but i do not know which is rite for me. coz tweaks do really screw ur windows up.

A good site with a lot of info is here.

The other question is, any ideas what has 'changed' before this problem started?

Cheers
