| 398554 | 2005-10-23 08:49:00 | This is a funny one,my son's computer switches on if they get a phone call or call out. The computer is shut down, not on standby or sleep, phone rings and computer starts up but doesn't go on line.They have to remove plug from wall to stop it starting. :mad: They use XP. :help: Mick |

| 398558 | 2005-10-23 09:09:00 | to get in to BIOS you will need to hit the DEL key during the firest fre seconds after you power on and before you see anything that sayu windows. once in BIOS have a look under each of the menues for WOL (Wake On Lan) or wake on ring. might be under power managment. every BIOS system is a bit different so just look around. |
