| 398666 | 2005-10-24 03:47:00 | There are a couple of possiblities 1.Some of the space is always taken up by the firmware (the Flashdrices OS) - although 200mb seems a little high for this... 2.Some may also be taken up by a secure area for saving sensitive files - this is the case with my Kingston drive. Hopefully you will have received a manual for the drive - this may indicate how to format the drive and recover the "secure" space. |
