398674 2005-10-23 21:19:00 I have recently been advised to create a second, and 'limited user' identity in order to make surfing the web safer.
I have in fact done this and also managed to re-create my email client [Eudora] in the new identity by simply copying the 'Eudora' application data file from my main administrator identity to the new limited user identity.
Unfortunately this does not seem to work with Firefox.
Copying the Firefox application data file from my Administrator identity does not update the Firefox application in the limited user identity.
I can easily import my bookmarks into the Limited user Firefox but all the themes and especially the extensions is a problem since these have been extensively fine tuned (e.g. the spell checker) and it would really be more convenient to re-create the new Firefox as a duplicate of the Administrator account Firefox.
Can anyone tell me how this is done.
Many thanks.

imo you don’t need to do this

I have been surfing the web with an administrator identity since I have started to use XP & I have no problems :)

As all ways just make sure you run a anti-virus Program & you run some sort of Spyware, adware removal Program like Ad-aware & SpyBot Search and Destroy & a firewall.
