| 398637 | 2005-10-23 20:35:00 | i recently discovered a Server 2003 installation CD while searching for a Windows cd. i installed 2003 with the intent to use it as a temp workstation not a server until i can get XP. Now when i use dialup and surf internet for a short period of time a error always comes up sayin that RPC has rerminated unexpectedly and the system will restart in 60secs. this is really annoying how do i fix this problem? I want to use 2003 for music as i am planning a party and do not have the funds or the time to get and OS | aidanmaz (7180) | ||

You'll need to install a decent virus checker or perhaps run a blaster removal tool to remove it, and I you may also need a firewall to be installed to stop it from coming back. Server2003 RC2 is not supported by Microsoft, so I doubt you'll find any updates from them for it. Mike. |
