Currrenty restoring a friends PC which dates from 1999.It is a Gateway G6-366C model.I have tried locating drivers via usual channels , using serial numbers etc but to no avail.Only has 8 number serial and Gateway insists on a 10 number serial.Need video and sound.Have searched Gateway using model no etc but it is not reconised and when you try to contact the site only seems to be USA freindly. |

run everest. this will tell you what sort of graphics and sound you have, like the model number and maker. google this and you should be able to find the drivers. |

If you do know what type of drivers you need, I personally love www.driverguide.com, Just login with Username: Temp - Pass: 512 and look for those specific drivers, Its always what I use. Also look for an FCC ID for modems and such, <driverzone.com supports this> to get specific models. |
