399633 2005-10-27 03:04:00 FOR all letters? I want to make a statement of EXPENSES and in the past the columns have not fallen neatly on top of each other?? olldaddy78 (6546)
399634 2005-10-27 03:53:00 Hi Oldaddy. Not too sure what you mean, but have you considered using the Tab key to line up the columns OR using a table to sort the details and then printing the table without its borders showing - very neat. I like the Tab because one of the Tab selections is the decimal point, which allows you to throw the numbers in and the amounts are sorted vertically so that the decimal points are in a vertical line and making the amounts easy to tally. Hi olldaddy78,

Presumably you are referring to fixed-width fonts as opposed to proportional fonts.

Courier New is a fixed width font.
Times New Roman is a proportional font.
