| 399263 | 2005-10-25 19:37:00 | I'm wondering if I've over protected my system. I'm on XP and I've got loaded: Windows Firewall Zone Labs Adaware Spybot Norton AV but the sub has run out recently AVG Free Mail Washer History Kill Webroot Spy Sweeper - this on 14 day trial and I use NetgearDG834G which says it has a firewall This is a bit of an overkill, I think. I'd appreciate ideas on a sensible combination, and should I pay for Spy Sweeper or is Spybot sufficient |

| 399264 | 2005-10-25 19:55:00 | Yes, overkill :) AVG Free Microsoft Anti-Spyware, maybe Spybot S&D to go with it Windows Firewall Mailwasher.... Well ive always preferred Thunderbird. Thats enough :) Then again, cant hurt to be too thorough, if it _is_ working. Geez it'd be slow thou!! |

The rest is to be commended, if more people took precautions I'd be out of work. And no it won't be slow because only the firewall and AV are resident. |
