400315 2005-10-30 01:30:00 Hi There,

I have installed a S3 Virge video card (just a basic one I think) and are trying to get it to work as a secondary monitor display, but keep getting Device cannot Start Code 10 error.

I have an on board NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX Intergrated GPU (32MB) video card as the primary. Does anyone know how to fix the problem or do I need to get another video card for the secondary one?
Also when I go to Display Settings there is only one monitor showing. please could someone help!

In the BIOS, try setting the S3 as the primary display device. It works if you only have one

400317 2005-10-30 08:02:00 You probably won't be able to get an integrated card to work concurrently with a PCI/AGP one. Invest in another PCI or AGP card. DangerousDave (697)
400318 2005-10-30 10:12:00 I second DangerousDave's notion. Most older motherboards dont support onboard + PCI/AGP dual-monitors Chilling_Silence (9)
