400293 2005-10-29 01:34:00 Hi,
I switched (my grandmother's) computer over from XTRA to Kiwi OnLine, which went well, I can connect to KOL absolutely fine, but I do not know how to cancel the XTRA dialup account. I have searched the telecom and XTRA web pages, but to no avail. Anyone know how? Got a link? Or do I have to ring XTRA/Telecom?

400295 2005-10-29 01:38:00 Yes, but that won't stop XTRA billing me for them providing the service, or will not using them just stop it? Xika (8344)
400296 2005-10-29 01:39:00 Have you actually phoned Xtra and cancelled your account? If not, then you will have to ring them up. Jen (38)
400297 2005-10-29 01:43:00 ring them up on 0800225598 and cancel it you'll need to have the original telephone account number it's billed to and the account holder will need to verify that they want to cancell...... drcspy (146)
400298 2005-10-29 03:30:00 Are you sure it isn't a dial-up account type under the "My Account" area?

i.e. you change your type to cancel.

ISPs have always been funny about cancelling. With Ihug I remeber filling in the web form and only some weeks later did you get a confirmation email, saying it had been cancelled :D

You should send it in writing too.
