400189 2005-10-29 09:25:00 Can anyone tell me how to find out where the model is on a hp motherboard. Thanks devon2 devon2 (9162)
400190 2005-10-29 11:09:00 Sometimes its not on it.

But if you post the exact HP model here we could probably help.

So could Google, simply by searching you will get sites such as this. Scroll down and see if what you want is there.

400192 2005-10-29 21:48:00 there should be a series of numbers on the motherboard. google them and you will get answers. but everest will be easier. Prescott (11)
400193 2005-10-30 00:41:00 The BIOS might know ... :D

Quite often "proprietary" computers have a page called something like "System Information" in their BIOS setup.

400194 2005-10-30 01:05:00 I have successfully used this site: www.newegg.com

to get that information...it will scan your system and tell you what mobo and version of bios you are running as well as advise for RAM additions.
