| 400989 | 2008-05-12 23:30:00 | I am finding Irfanview (lastest version 4.1) quite unstable. You can be working on an image and suddenly it decides to switch somewhere else etc. Anyone else finding that ? It is very good for a free program - not deriding it but it just seems to have a bit of a mind of its own. Misty :( I know what you mean. In the later versions Irfanview seems to skip through the images in a folder if you inadvertently move the scroll wheel. However I like Irfanview because it is amazingly powerful once you have got your head around its quirks. I find it's really useful for batch resizing multiple images and also rescuing low resolution images by resampling them and saving them in a larger file. |

Well expressed - with my current headcold I was thinking how to say it. Also you can resize then move the scroll wheel and it suddenly reverts to the previous size. However I like Irfanview because it is amazingly powerful once you have got your head around its quirks. I find it's really useful for batch resizing multiple images and also rescuing low resolution images by resampling them and saving them in a larger file. I must work at resizing multiple images. Did it yesterday and seemed pretty straightforward but then I found that each image had stayed the same size. I am probably doing something wrong. Must try again ! Thanks Misty :) :) |
