1357574 2005-11-01 06:18:00 Sounds like you have a sensible IT person there...... Scouse (83)
1357575 2005-11-01 07:14:00 So they have either enabled security policies or have locked it down with a third party product.

What should really do is ask the Admin - why have you disabled stuff so much to a point that you can't work?

Otherwise, the naughty person in me would just run stuff off a USB drive or bring out Knoppix (but me suspect they'd have disabled those too). ;)

Heh what are left-handed people going to do (some people like the mouse buttons swapped around)?

1357581 2005-11-01 22:54:00 Why is anyone trying to assist this character to do things his school considers illegal on their expensive equipment? What happened to the spirit of the site?
This remark says it all..... im nto going to ask the teacher, or administrator. i just need to get into a file that lets me enable right click!

1357582 2005-11-01 23:04:00 I tend to agree. I see no reason to assist someone in circumventing what is obviously the policy of their school's IT department. If they have a problem with it, I suggest they take it up with the IT department. Biggles (121)
1357583 2005-11-02 00:30:00 Why is anyone trying to assist this character to do things his school considers illegal on their expensive equipment? Nonsense - it may be against school policy, but I doubt it's actually "illegal".

Besides - here's a budding PressF1 user and PCWorld subscriber - why chase him away!?
