| 400995 | 2005-11-01 04:33:00 | I read or heard somewhere (I think it was the PCWORLD Magazine) that Internet prices are going to go down before christmas! Is this really going to happen, if when? Cheers. :dogeye: :D | zahmad (8963) | ||

| 401002 | 2005-11-01 08:42:00 | Got an e-mail from xtra this morning. Mine's gone down by $10 / month. I see that only applies to the dear option. Certainly not my $45 option. |

| 401004 | 2005-11-01 19:05:00 | I see that only applies to the dear option. Certainly not my $45 option. Are there any discounts at all on the cheaper options? For the price I'm paying for broadband (over the 'phone line) now I was up until a few months ago paying for wireless (256k 2gb limit). So when it became available here, I reasoned for the same price (was 69.95) I might as well get their good service. Cicero, I see in the back page of the latest PC World, WorldNet are advertising some improved prices and ADSL users change for free. I can see why xtra brought mine down, although WorldNet would give 4GB's more than xtra are currently. Not too sure whether I could change ISP's, just yet without incurring a penalty as I signed a contract when I got wireless, which was a part of Project Probe and otherwise would have cost over a $100 / month (I wouldn't have bothered), just stuck with my satellite serviice. |
