401348 2005-11-02 06:24:00 Well it has probably been there for a long time...but just now I noticed that in my Firefox there is in the drop down box an option called "undo close tab". Probably an extension that I took on board quite a while ago and did not know how to access. I clicked on "undo close tab", and guess what, the tab that I had closed moments before re-opened. Great !!! It is so easy to close a tab and then regret it.

Firefox is even more marvellous than I thought !

401350 2005-11-02 07:22:00 I love my undo close tab extension. :D

You always have those d'oh moments after spending 20 minutes following a trail of links to a website only to accidently close it. Much faster than hunting through your history listings.

Not sure, but seems not - bob_doe ! The link brought up talks about, amongst other things, using the middle button ...whereas I use the right button to give me a drop down menu and then chose. Other things seem different. Maybe a different developer and different extension ??

401352 2005-11-02 07:44:00 Well heres (www.extensionsmirror.nl) where I got it from

Hey Jenny Wenny! :p Where did you get yours from?

401353 2005-11-02 08:02:00 Opera also has this feature built in and I use it all the time. A quick CTRL+Z brings back the last page that I closed and there is also a "Trash Bin" where you can bring back any page closed during that session, up to the limit of your cache.

It's brilliant.

Hey Jenny Wenny! :p Where did you get yours from?I thought it was no longer supported as I couldn't find it on the normal Firefox extension page and was most distraught about it . . . .

Then I heard a rumour it was still available and I think I hunted it down to here ( . dorando . at/readme . html" target="_blank">mozilla . dorando . at) which then lead to here ( . extensionsmirror . nl/index . php?showtopic=226" target="_blank">www . extensionsmirror . nl), which is the same URL you posted . :p

I reckon it's Tab Mix (addons.mozilla.org) extention. In the Tab Mix Options on the menu tab you can set what appears on right-click. Yeah it's a wicked extention.

You're right Jass - it is Tab Mix 0.2

I see that there are now Tab Mix 0.2.1 and Tab Mix 0.2.2.3 available
--- ooooohh, what excitement !! :p

One minute I did not even know I had it -- and now there are (improvements ?) :D

401357 2006-04-16 09:41:00 and now..... Tab Mix Plus 0.3.0.5 is even better - even has an option "Closed tabs list", which shows you all of the tabs you have closed during the current session - which means that you can restore one or even all of them !

There are also two options which are Protect Tab and Lock Tab - though am not sure what the difference is between them. Yet to experiment.
