| 401401 | 2005-11-04 23:37:00 | Funny someone should mention damage, becuase, incidentally, the First 4 XCP software has popped up a security vulnerability. So, these chumps want to have a piece of the deepest recesses of your system, want the goodies but no responsibility or liability , with a focus entirely on themselves, apparently don't care about deterence, but they can't write decent software. Would it be any surprise, given the above, that other problems are found in their software, that there are other functions that they are not telling us about. They're working at the same level, with much the same motives as a cracker. Even if you haven't been "infected", that is only a fortuitous accident, these people have breached your trust. Do they give a toss apart from the bottom line implications? Getting back to the vulnerability, might it be a feature? |
