401289 2005-11-02 03:52:00 Hi,

I have a problem with my DVD-Rom and my CD-RW.

When I put a CD or DVD in my DVD-Rom, I get the following error message:

"D:\ is not accessible.
Incorret function. "

However, when I play with the properties of the DVD-Rom (i.e. just clicking the Properties, Driver Details), the DVD-Rom starts running and I can read the DVD or CDs.

As you can see, this is quite weird and bothersome. Since my DVD-Rom just by playing around with it, I don't suppose there is a problem with the driver or any cables are unplugged. What could be the problem?

I am running Windows XP SP1 with IE 6.0.

Perhaps, you’ll find driver updates there.
